Technical conditions: Competition arena – outdoors, grass (20 x 60 meters)

Invitations: National federations invited to compete: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Belarus, Poland

Number of home riders: max. 4 in each class (total of 12 horse/rider combinations)

Number of foreign riders: max 2 in each class for each country (total 6 horse/rider combinations for each country)

NB! In case foreign riders do not take up their allotted places, vacant spots may taken up by home riders.

Documents: FEI or national horse passport with the veterinary matters approved by the NF.

Veterinary check: May 29th, Thursday at 7 PM on the showground

Stabling: Boxes on the showground are 250 Lt (c. 72 Eur). The price includes first bedding and water. Hay will be available for purchase throughout the show.

Boxes will be available from Thursday (3 PM) to Sunday (9 PM)

Entries: Deadline for definite entries is May 15th, 2008

Definite entries must include rider’s name and contact information, horse’s name, year of birth, sex, breed, sire, dam sire, birth place, owner, and classes in which the horse competes

Rules: The competition is held according to the rules of NF of Lithuania.

For classes No. 1 and 4 only a snaffle bridle may be used.

For classes No. 2 and 5 double bridle is also allowed.

For classes No. 3 and 6 double bridle is compulsory.

Whips are allowed in classes 1, 2, 4, and 5.

Prize money: At least 25% of riders will receive prize money and rosettes. Winner of the class will also receive a blanket with logo. In case of equality of points, prize money is divided between contenders. All prize money is in litas (1 litas approx. 3,4528 eur).

When you make your reservation, please specify that you are a participant of the international riding competition in Vilnius’ Vingis park.

Directions: Coming for the North (Estonia/Latvia), take the A2 highway from Tallin/Riga and keep on driving straight when you reach Vilnius. You’ll be driving on Ukmergės street, then Geležinio vilko street. When you pass under a long lighted tunnel look for a park on your right side. Pass all the way through it and look for a right turn at the end of the park. Turn right and keep on going until you reach the showground.
